With a newly opening pub (Dec 2019) and children’s playground, the idyllic village of Moreton Pinkney is only a short walk away. And less than a mile from the boundary of the village is a farm selling wholesale fruit and vegetables.

Canons Ashby village has a delightful National Trust House and Garden, a shop and a tasty tea-room.

Culworth, 3 miles

Culworth village is home to the popular Mumfords butcher and Forge Coffee, a cosy coffee shop with delicious, freshly baked bread, pies and cakes

Sulgrave, 3.5 miles

A little further afield, the village of Sulgrave has a deli-style shop with post office.   

Woodford Halse, 4.5 miles

The Royal Oak at Eydon.3.9miles A friendly village pub with a great personality. The Royal Oak is a fantastic starting or ending point for several country walks.

The Cotswolds: The Cotswold villages are some of the most beautiful in Britain (think honey-colour stone, rambling streets, quaint tea rooms and cosy pubs.) We recommend a trip to both Chipping Norton and Burford, only 30 minutes away. 

Althorp: The Grade I listed ancestral home of the Spencer family and final resting place of Diana, Princes of Wales is well worth a visit. 

Blenheim Palace: A world heritage site, Blenheim Palace is a monumental country house in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The principal residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, the house and formal gardens are a fantastic family day out with lake, countryside walks, mini train, playground, cafes and restaurants. Dogs are permitted if kept on a lead.
